Always wanted to connect to the internet when you’re out and about on your Nintendo 3DS? Nintendo UK has partnered with mobile network O2 to give you just that, and have signed a deal allowing 3DS holders to connect to over 7,000 free Wi-Fi hotspots throughout the country.
From today, 3DS owners – with the latest system update – will be able to connect to Wi-Fi hotspots in places such as McDonalds, Costa Coffee, Debenhams, Pizza Hut and many others to browse, download new trailers, demos or access online gaming facilities. In just a few weeks, over 7,000 hotspots will be live throughout the UK covering public venues including the O2 arena, Twickenham and Bluewater shopping centres, as well as specific London boroughs.
