Nintendo today released the latest system update for Nintendo 3DS in North America. Version 6.1.0-12U, which has been available for download in Europe since last month, brings a couple of new features. After performing the update, users in North America will be able to purchase downloadable content in StreetPass Mii Plaza. Changes to StreetPass Mii Plaza:

• The option to update StreetPass Mii Plaza is now available from the Streetpass Mii Plaza menu
  • Updating StreetPass Mii Plaza will provide new features, such as the ability to change your Mii character’s expression and the ability to purchase new StreetPass Mii Plaza game
