Today, Nintendo announced the former Japan-only limited edition Pokemon X & Y 3DS XLs would make their way overseas. However, there was no word on whether the game would be bundled with the new red and blue versions, possibly issuing them as digital downloads early as per their previous 3DS bundles. Nintendo UK has clarified the issue on their Twitter page, saying that the games will be sold separately. Both versions will retail at $199.99/£179.99 in North America and Europe on September 27.
