The Unity developer toolkit is already impacting the development of new games for Wii U, as Taxi Journey designers Lexis Numerique have announced on their Kickstarter page that Wii U has been added to Windows as the two main platform goals for the project. Xbox Live, PS Vita, and iPad are all among the campaign’s stretch goals, but the low production cost associated with using the Unity toolkit has given Lexis Numerique the ability to port the game to Wii U for no added expense.

With a similar art scheme and tone to the game Limbo, but a gameplay and story all its own, Taxi Journey is a dark puzzle-platformer featuring a large man, animated in color, driving a small taxi through richly detailed black and white terrain.
