Ubisoft Is Projecting 10 Million Copies Sold For Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag

Apparently Ubisoft revealed even more in yesterday’s conference call than originally believed. It has come to light that the company is projecting sales of 10 million copies for its latest Assassin’s Creed installment, Black Flag. With these numbers, the company is actually forecasting a decrease for the Assassin’s Creed series, as Assassin’s Creed 3 raked in a total of 12.5 million copies sold in its first six months. Yesterday, Ubisoft also announced that Rayman Legends and Splinter Cell: Blacklist did not perform in accordance with expectations, so perhaps the latest Assassin’s Creed projections are taking into account Ubisoft’s ailing overall sales figures.
