The Secret of Mana (known as the second Final Fantasy Adventure game) has been a game that ranks in the top of most all-time best categories since its release in 1994 on the Super Nintendo in North America. A Player’s Guide was released alongside the game, which was released by Prima under the “Official Game Secrets” series.

After looking at the guide, I realized that Prima now strives for greater strategy guides. As a comparison at the time, the Nintendo Power Player’s Guide set the standard, almost making any competition feeling less than superior, especially when the competition lacked full-color on every page.
