For whatever reason, I struggle to get red meat into Thea. It’s one of those things I thought she would really go for but she somehow ends up being more fussy over it than anything else. When fussy translates into her picking through her food and flinging it at the walls I tend to give it a wide berth for a while until I dream up some new and (hopefully) interesting way to treat the meat so she flings it down her throat instead. These, I was pleased to discover, were fairly successful. Anyone with a small child will know that levels of success are taken down a notch when it comes to food consumption. If she gives at least some of it a go I’m chalking it up as a winner.
