Moto G coming to Verizon via Best Buy for $99

When Motorola(s goog) introduced the Moto G back in November, it said the low-cost smartphone would make its way to U.S. carriers by early 2014. An unlocked GSM version of the phone is already available, and it looks like you’ll soon be able to pick up a CDMA model as well. The Los Angeles Times has confirmed that a Verizon Wireless(s vz) model of the Moto G is becoming available at Best Buy(s bb) stores for $99.99 without a contract.

“The phone is currently landing in stores and is available for sale as soon as it arrives,” Best Buy spokesman Jonathan Sandler told The Times.

The Moto G first went on sale in the U.S. last month directly from Motorola. An 8GB model costs $179, while a 16GB model is available for $199. So a $99.99 phone (likely for the 8GB model) from Best Buy is a great price…
