Although it’s technically spring according to the calendar, it sure hasn’t felt like it this week in New York City — but that’s not stopping Taylor Swift from adding cheerful pops of color to her wardrobe to brighten up the chilly days while we collectively wait for warmer temps!

The 24 year-old performer stepped out to do some shopping on Thursday (March 27) in a camel-colored pea coat, a blue and green plaid scarf, a matching shirt, brown lace-up boots, and the perfect pair of purple skinny jeans in a shade of this year’s it color — Pantone’s Color of the Year, Radiant Orchid! She also added a pair of lavender fingerless gloves to emphasize the color.
