Digital Foundry: Mario Kart 8 Is Native 720p And Runs On Average At 59 Frames Per Second

Respected technology analysis site Digital Foundry has delivered their final verdict on the well-received Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U. The publication says that Nintendo’s latest kart racer is 720p native, which goes against some of the rumours stating that its native 1080p. Nintendo also aimed to have the game run at a constant 60 frames per second, but the game generally dips to 59 frames per second. Here’s some extracts from the definitive analysis.
