Nintendo has assured that Yoshi’s Woolly World will be more challenging than Kirby’s Epic Yarn – the game in which it’s impossible to lose a life. Although both platformers share a strikingly similar art style, they don’t have the same difficulty level. The forthcoming Yoshi title, for example, will allow players to die from enemies or falling into pits. Yoshi’s Woolly World will launch in 2015 for Wii U.

“With Yoshi’s Woolly World, we don’t intend it to be for younger players…we were going to make it a Yoshi game,” Nintendo designer Takashi Tezuka said. “The courses beyond what we have on the show floor will get more challenging. And if you try to get all the collectibles, you’ll find it pretty challenging. It’ll push back.”
