Square Enix is pumping out Dragon Quest titles like nobody’s business. Not that I’m complaining. Anyway, a leak by Japanese publication Jump Magazine states that the company has a brand new Dragon Quest Monsters title in development which is named Dragon Quest Monster Joker 3 and is destined for Japan. Details are rather scarce at the moment, but no doubt Square Enix will lift the lid soon.

The Chronicles Vlog #9: Sleepless in Seattle…
The Chronicles© – No Equal Since 2008 | www.stickydiljoe.com
The Chronicles Vlog #9 is a quick, one-episode look into our visit to the Pacific Northwest. There was a feature car out there that I had been looking to shoot for months now for Super Street magazine. I’ve been pretty busy so I just hadn’t had the opportunity to make the trek. With the summer season in full swing, I figured I’d have to go sooner than later so Der and I flew out for a weekend to see all that Seattle, WA had to offer. We make some quick food stops along the way as we always do and then we even organized a last minute meet in Alki Beach. There’s some great cars out there in that region that you’ll have a chance to see in this vlog.

’69 Chevrolet Camaro SS 396 Convertible at the Greenwich Concours
When I daydream about my ideal classic Muscle Car, this ’69 Chevy Camaro is pretty much what I imagine. Something that embodies the essence of the flavor that made the American Muscle Car famous, but also with the right package to be an enjoyable driver.
This 1969 model Chevrolet Camaro SS 396 Convertible has everything I’d want. It’s not the craziest Camaro, but it’s not the little one either. She’s got a 396 big block under the hood, with an enjoyable 350-375hp. Not too “fast” by today’s standards, but surely enough to smoke the tires and piss off some Prius owners. For me, this sort of car isn’t about speed at this point, though. It’s about cruisin’ around and enjoying life. That’s why I was thrilled to see it had a manual tranny, a proper 4 on the floor. I know many people like automatic Muscle Cars, but I’d never have…

Inside Out
Pixar’s newest entry into the canon of childhood exploration, Inside Out, plunges into the depths of the emotions that drive our lives, and how out of control they can sometimes seem. Most importantly it aims to show us that it’s okay to feel all of the feelings that make us whole. Riley – the body behind the brain – is an eleven-year-old girl who has been uprooted from her happy childhood in Minnesota and is forced to start anew in San Francisco with her family. Helping Riley navigate this life-changing event are the emotions in the headquarters of her mind – Joy (Amy Poehler), Fear (Bill Hader), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling), and Sadness (Phyllis Smith). However, up to this point in her life, Joy has been doing all she can to keep Sadness away from Riley’s daily life.

It is now post E3 and the rumour mill is still in full flow. The latest rumour suggests that Disney and Nintendo are both teaming up for a number of things including films, video games and interactive toys and merchandise. The second rumour is regarding Nintendo joining forces with Amazon to get their mobile titles on the Amazon App Store. Amazon apparently approached Nintendo about the deal. The rumour comes from the same source that apparently accurately predicted the wave three amiibo information as well as the collaboration between Skylanders and amiibo. Here’s some of the details.
- Nintendo & Disney have negotiated a deal for films, video games and interactive toys/merchandise
- amiibo are not included in Disney Infinity 3.0 because both companies are yet to set an agreement

Rumour: NX Won’t Be Android-Based But Will Emulate Android Games
You may have read the rumour that’s been circulating the web suggesting that Nintendo is partnering up with Disney and also Amazon. Well, the very same source claims that Nintendo’s next generation video game platform, the NX, won’t be Android-based, but it will allow for the emulation of Android games. This is just a rumour at present, and as I’m sure you are well aware, we won’t be hearing any concrete details about the NX until next year.
- Nintendo will not create an Android system, but instead will emulate Android games. It’s not something that’s confirmed, but just an interpretation of the conversations. (Think how Blackberry is doing it)
- When Nintendo announced their mobile games, Amazon was very interested in having the games also be on the Amazon App store.
- Nintendo games will be on the Amazon store on day one, or shortly after Play Store and App Store.
