Nintendo of America has today confirmed that there will be a 25 minute long Treehouse pre-show just before the Nintendo World Championships on Sunday. There’s a number of places that you’ll be able to watch the Treehouse pre-show including the official Nintendo E3 site, YouTube and also Twitch.

It’s been a while, but we’ve finally got another firmware update for the Wii U. The official Nintendo Support page says that the latest update is a stability one, so it doesn’t sound as though new features have been added this time around. Hopefully we will get a larger update which brings new functionality after E3 which begins next week in Los Angeles.
Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience
Sometimes, Nintendo doesn’t quite create the things you wish for. If I had a penny for every game Nintendo hasn’t made that I’ve always wanted… I’d have, like, a bazillion dollars. And I’m not the only one; fans all over the world frequently take matters into their own hands and let their creativity blossom into some truly awesome fan-made material.
So, do yourself a favor and check out this YouTube video posted by Callegos-Y. It’s a rather amazing animated sketch taking place in the Legend of Zelda universe titled ‘Racing for Rupees.” It tells the story of Link doing everything he can to find enough rupees to purchase a new shield.
The video was constructed in Source Film Maker, a popular online video capture and editing application that operates inside game engines. Yes, you can tell that the character models are ripped from various games in the Zelda franchise (and that’s okay!)…
Minecraft user SethBling has created his own rendition of Splatoon‘s main online mode, Turf War, in the immensely-popular sandbox game by Mojang. Akin to how the mode is played in the real game, the Minecraft version of Turf War allows players to compete in four-on-four teams to try to cover as much territory as possible in their team’s ink. You can even turn into a squid and swim through your own team’s ink and glide up and down walls. You can check out SethBling’s recreation in the video below:
