Cisco reported financial results Wednesday and while the company saw a drop in both revenue and profits, the company is investing in the internet of things. Cisco said it has allocated $100 million to invest in early stage companies to help it move the connected world forward. The company has already said it expects the internet of everything to drive growth in its services revenue from 20 percent of total sales to 30 percent, and has announced, but not delivered an entirely new architecture for a world of connected devices speaking to the cloud.

Yahoo’s Aviate app for Android gets smarter when you listen to music
Like listening to music on your Android(s goog) phone? Then you’ll probably also like the newest feature added to Yahoo Aviate for Android called Listening Space. The software intelligently groups all of your music applications and shows them whenever you plug headphones into your handset. Hands on with GM’s new 4G-powered connected car system
In the next six months, General Motors’(s gm) first 4G cars will start rolling off dealer lots, but on Tuesday GM treated me to a sneak peak at what its newly revamped MyLink infotainment system and OnStar connectivity platform will look like.

A budding app library
The most obvious result of that effort is an app store built directly into the dash…

Will Soraya Saga And Next Level Games Be Showing Off Games At Nintendo Direct Tomorrow?
We already know that a Nintendo Direct will be coming tomorrow and arriving a little later than usual. What we don’t know is which games will be shown off. Nintendo says it’s showcasing its spring lineup which will undoubtedly include Donkey Kong and Mario Kart. However, Soraya Saga retweeted the Direct announcement in Japan and when she retweets a Direct, X news usually follows. Next Level Games also retweeted the Direct so hopefully we will see something from them, too. The Nintendo Direct begins at 2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET US and 10pm in England. What would you like to see?
Update: Platinum Games also retweeted the Direct
Thanks, Retrogaminglord
