The New Year is finally here and it seems like Disney Channel is certainly kicking off 2014 to the right start. Disney just released a new and official music video featuring Dove Cameron. The music video comes straight from the Disney Channel Original Movie, Cloud 9. Not only is this Disney star featured in the movie but she also sings the theme song for the movie – “Cloud 9.” The movie premieres this month on January 17 on Disney Channel at 8/7c. Justin Bieber sure gave fans a good welcome to the new year by releasing his official music video for one of his Music Mondays songs “Hold Tight.” The music video isn’t like most videos. Instead, it features clips of Justin singing “One Less Lonely Girl” to his fans on stage in front of the audience. It also features Justin meeting his fans from concerts. Bump, the mobile app that gained traction nearly four years ago for its “magical” information transfer when two phones touched each other, seemed poised for greatness at the early dawn of the smartphone era. But the app struggled after its initial popularity, which eventually led creator Bump Technologies to accept an acquisition offer from Google in September. Like many other apps purchased by the search giant, Bump and sister app Flock will join the Google acquisition graveyard at the end of the month.

“We are now deeply focused on our new projects within Google, and we’ve decided to discontinue Bump and Flock,” David Lieb, Bump Technologies co-founder and CEO said on the company’s blog. “On January 31, 2014, Bump and Flock will be removed from the App Store and Google Play. After this date, neither app will work, and all user data will be deleted.”

Well, it looks like Winamp won’t die after all: AOL will sell the pioneering music service along with server program Shoutcast to Belgian radio aggregate service Radionomy, according to TechCrunch. The details of the deal are not final, but TechCrunch says that the specifics should surface tomorrow. It seems like Radionomy’s DIY audio philosophy jives well with both Winamp and ShoutCast, especially as both have supported many homegrown radio stations over the years. However, whether Winamp will exist as a standalone product remains to be seen — Radionomy might benefit deeply from integrating the service directly into its current offerings.

Warner Bros has revealed on Facebook that it plans to release story related downloadable content for Batman: Arkham Origins this year. Details on the new batch of DLC is rather scarce, but hopefully we should get more information in the coming months.
