The hills of the Ozarks are a wet place. Rain water becomes spring water or ground water as it passes through our limestone karst topography. As it gets colder out the bluffs leach out this water in the form of icicles. On the ground below the bluffs the water trapped inside the stalks of tall plants expands. This ice takes on amazing forms – frost flowers appear at the bases of these plants. They appear on mornings where the temps are below freezing and disappear as the temperature rises.

The highly respected hair stylist, Celso Kamura of Sao Paulo, Brazil, has chosen Izabel Goulart to illustrate the pages of the next edition of his own quarterly magazine Connection C.Kamura, which has an exclusive circulation among hair and beauty stylists. The feature, entitled Power Play, was photographed by Pascoal Rodriguez and styling was by Anna Laura Villega and Cintya Misobuchi. Kamura said “I wanted to show another version of Izabel, who is already known for her loose, wavy and bulky hair. Gorgeous as she is, she can also be sexy with an alternative colour shade and style”.  He loved the result, he said.

O Centro combina o conhecimento técnico e jurídico da Microsoft a respeito do tema à ferramentas e tecnologias de ponta construídas a partir do conhecimento de vários segmentos da indústria.

Todo ano os crimes cibernéticos geram prejuízos tanto pessoais, como financeiros para milhões de consumidores ao redor do globo. No Brasil, aproximadamente 60% da população diz já ter vivido alguma experiência relacionada a crimes cibernéticos, segundo um estudo recente da Symantec.

Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime has promised on GameTrailers that the Wii U won’t see the same kind of software drought that plagued the Wii U during the first half of 2013. Reggie admitted that Nintendo had made a mistake, but they hope to rectify that in 2014 with a steady flow of software for the format.

“The way we’re going to be different is, we’re gonna certainly have a steadier pace of games – both for Wii U and for 3DS.”

Now that Twitter (s twtr) is almost eight years old, has over 200 million users and is a multibillion-dollar company, it’s easy to forget what using the service was like in the early days — what made it seem so special, and how those features helped turn it into a global media entity.
