Izabel Goulart is planning a healthy start to her day with freshly prepared organic green juice.  She has chosen fresh pineapple, kiwi fruit, apple, orange, celery, courgette (zucchini), lime, root ginger and what appears to be curly kale for ingredients, all to be consigned to her Breville Juice Fountain Elite.  Izabel loves to be surrounded by flowers, and her favourite white Dendrobium orchids are much in evidence, along with a healthy selection of fruit. The arrival of Super Mario 3D World, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and Mario Party: Island Tour, has seen Nintendo’s shares up 4.15 percent. The shares reached a a three-month high yesterday, ending the day gaining 4.15 percent on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The Wii U has really struggled, but Nintendo president Reggie Fils-Aime is confident that the console will perform to the company’s expectations in the coming months.

“What!?!” That was the general recent reaction to the news that one of the most popular apps on the market, Snapchat, was offered — and turned down! — Facebook’s more than $3 billion cash buyout offer. Whether Snapchat made the right move to hold out remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure: we’re creating and sharing more data than ever before.

Thanks to all the gadgets we have access to, any event can now be chronicled online; photos and documents can be sent from person-to-person (even to the wrong people) on mobile devices in an instant. Essa  informação foi divulgada pelo presidente da Sony Pictures, durante uma reunião para os investidores.

There have been plenty of blog posts on why enterprise startups are “hot,” but enterprise startups can range from cloud infrastructure companies to developer software to new enterprise applications. Evaluating each market is very different because each of these markets are built upon each other (e.g., a next-generation CRM app is built using new database technology for analytics, which is in turn hosted on software-defined data center technology).

As a partner at Greylock, I’ve evaluated startups at every level of this enterprise software “stack,” and I’ve developed some frameworks for organizing how I think through the different opportunities. Two key ones for enterprise IT that I want to share are the infrastructure triangle and the enterprise applications triangle. I use the triangle to organize thoughts on how each technology is currently being disrupted.
