Nintendo’s put together an Animal Crossing-themed lounge near this year’s San Diego Comic-Con to promote Nintendo 3DS game Animal Crossing: New Leaf. If you visit the lounge and are brave enough, you might get to meet an Animal Crossing villager, like the tall one in the above photo – what would you do if you saw him walking toward you?

Há alguns meses, se você perguntasse a algum cientista se era possível criar uma forma de carbonato de magnésio livre de água, ele responderia que esse tipo de coisa é impossível de ser fabricada. Acontece que uma equipe de cientistas da Universidade Uppsala, na Suécia, conseguiu realizar o que muitos julgavam fora de cogitação.

Quem é fã de robótica sabe que há várias competições envolvendo robôs, inclusive uma em que as máquinas são programadas para jogar futebol. E é exatamente nesta competição — chamada de RoboCup Jr. — que uma equipe de alunos brasileiros conseguiu conquistar o terceiro lugar mundial, a melhor marca desde 2006, ano em que o Brasil começou a participar do evento.

O inventor Andreas Hammar apresentou sua criação em Gothenburg, Suécia, na última segunda-feira e chamou atenção com seu projeto ambicioso: reciclar suor humano transformando-o em água potável. Nas demonstrações que ele fez até agora, mais de mil copos da água provenientes da máquina já foram distribuídos para a população da cidade que prestigiou o equipamento.

A brand new Strider game was revealed during a Comic-Con panel this week from Killer Instinct developers, Double Helix. Sadly, the game was only announced for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC. However, one of the developers at Double Helix told a NeoGaf member who attended the event that they could port the game to the Wii U if there’s enough demand from the fans.

“I spoke with a few members of Double Helix about Wii U and they said they can port it “if there’s a demand for it.”

I stopped by Bimmerfest 2013 in Aberdeen, MD to see one of the largest gatherings of Bavarian automobiles in the eastern US. I must confess I was only able to catch the afternoon portion of the show, but there were still plenty of cars left. There was a wide variety of cars present, everything from the latest M-Cars to classics to slammed late model 3 Series’. Enjoy the photos.
