On Monday, Ok Cupid co-founder Christian Rudder told the world – surprise! – just like Facebook, the company has been experimenting on its users. The gist of the post was, “You know how mad you were at Facebook? Well we did it too!”

In excruciating detail, Rudder laid out some of the behavioral tests the website has run on its unwitting daters. The first two are harmless: for example, the company removed all user images for a day to celebrate the launch of its blind dating app. It was a test run to see whether people were willing to take a chance on potentially ugly people.
