First up, mobile infrastructure gigantor [company]Ericsson[/company] made a “large investment” for a majority stake in [company]Apcera[/company]. How large? You can ask, but they’re not saying. It’s just big. Which sort of sets off my spidey sense.
This week our guests are Jason Hoffman, head of Ericsson’s cloud business unit and Derek Collison, founder of Apcera, who talk to us about the problem Ericsson/Apcera will attack and why Platform as a Service is not enough (apologies to the PaaS mafia) for what big policy- and governance-obsessed companies need to do.
