The new year is quickly approaching and it’s only natural that we reflect on various moments of the year — Zendaya is no different. Earlier she tweeted, “let’s #REPLAY more of your favorite moments of 2013!! here’s one of mine…Jive!!” It was the caption for a picture of her in a stunning gold fringe flapper dress, from her time on this past season of the hit reality show Dancing With The Stars. Although Zendaya didn’t win, she represented herself well on the dance floor and looked FIERCE doing it.

Check out one of Zendaya’s favorite moments of 2013 below and let us know what your favorite moment was.

Respected UK games publication EDGE has named Nintendo as the best publisher of 2013. Nintendo was up against Ubisoft and Sony Computer Entertainment, but managed to scoop the acclaimed accolade. Here’s what EDGE had to say about Nintendo in 2013.

“With no new hardware to launch, Nintendo spent 2013 focusing on games, and it’s been uncommonly prolific. 3DS got the best Animal Crossing, the best Fire Emblem and, in X&Y, perhaps the best Pokémon yet. On Wii U, we had a loving Pikmin update and the vibrant, majestic Super Mario 3D World. Also encouraging was a willingness to partner with external studios. The Wonderful 101 might not have hit the mark, but it represents a welcome shift away from total dependency on peerless internal studios.”

We know that Ultra HD could the next big thing for TV. At the same time, there is concern that too much hype could lead to disappointment.

Will consumers be able to see a difference? Will they care? Will there be a “wow factor”? What about content and distribution? Will it be too expensive for studios and service providers? What needs to happen before an end-to-end ecosystem can display the improved capabilities of 4K displays?

The first phase of 4K TVs

Ready or not, consumer 4K TV displays are here and their price is dropping fast. A year ago one could buy a small car for less than the cost of a 4K TV. The smart consumer bought the car…

Deep Down producer Kazunori Sugiura has told 4Gamer that while the company announced plenty of games in 2013, the company has saved some of its announcements for next year. These new announcements will apparently “surprise the readers a lot.” Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney 1-3 and Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Director Shu Takumi says that he will be announcing his next title at some point next year and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies Director Takeshi Yamazaki also told 4Gamer that he is completely devoting his time to the next game.
