Google’s new Nexus 6 is difficult to hunt down. The new flagship launched last month as the first phone to ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop, but inventory through the Google Play store is scarce with the company quickly running out of stock faster than Google can replace it. Based on my first impressions, I’m not surprised. Unlike prior Nexus phones, this one will be sold directly through the four major U.S. carriers and they’re gearing up for orders.
Starting tomorrow, November 12, AT&T will take Nexus 6 pre-orders on line and in its retail stores. The company hasn’t specified when orders would be fulfilled so there could still be a lengthy wait.
